Supply & retrofitting of GRP Anti-slip Cleats to an existing slippery wooden walkway

Summary:

Following the previous supply of Evergrip Anti-slip products to another National Parks Authority and their recommendation, we were contacted by a local body with a requirement for a large quantity of Anti-slip strips to cover an existing wooden boardwalk in an area of the National Park prone to flooding.

After visiting site & the approval of supplied samples, an order for almost 10,000 strips of Fibreglass backed Low Profile Anti-slip with dimensions of 1000mm x 150mm was agreed. These products were made to order in our factory in Selby from our Bespoke range and incorporate refined aluminium oxide granules, giving superior wear characteristics and extended life. ?To save unwarranted expense on the installation, groups of passionate & enthusiastic local volunteers, commendably, gathered together at each end of the boardwalk, a distance of some 3km. With railway pioneering spirit, they worked towards the middle, nailing them all in place!
